Chapter 1
- Stirring up an incident
- Character’s initial situation: mental, emotional, physical, or/and situational
- Objective and motivation of the character
- Relevant backstory of the character
- Main sources or reasons for stakes and tension
- Important secondary characters
- Relevant information that other characters have regarding the chapter
- Antagonist
- Include about 5 important plot scenes in the first chapter
- Include about 3 subplot scenes
- Character’s position at the end of this chapter
Chapter 2
- Transition that starts this chapter
- Character’s current situation at this point
- Objective and motivation of the character (If changed)
- The reflection of the character’s backstory at this stage. What evolved or changed?
- Main sources or reasons for stakes and tension
- Important secondary characters or antagonists and their current positions.
- Relevant information that the secondary characters have regarding the chapter
- Mention the antagonist’s development in this chapter
- Include about 5 important plot scenes in the this chapter
- Include about 3 subplot scenes as they track into this chapter
- Character’s position at the end of this chapter
Chapter 3
- Transition that starts this chapter
- Character’s initial situation at the beginning
- Objective and motivation of the character (If changed)
- The reflection of the character’s backstory at this stage. What evolved or changed?
- Main sources or reasons for stakes and tension
- Important secondary characters or antagonists and their current positions.
- Relevant information that the secondary characters have regarding the chapter
- Include about 5 important plot scenes in the this chapter
- Main character’s physical and emotional considerations of the climatic scene
- Mention the stake in the climatic scene
- Demeanour of the antagonist in the climatic scene; mental, emotional, physical, or/and situational
- Demeanour of the protagonist in the climatic scene; mental, emotional, physical, or/and situational
- Mention how the antagonist gets resolved
- Mention how the subplots get resolved
- Mention how the main secondary characters get resolved, respectively.
- Character’s position at the end of this chapter
- Mention how the primary theme gets resolved
